1. Learning Guidelines
i. Course Registration
ii. Term Dates and Adds/Drop Periods
Students can add or drop courses during Add/Drop Periods:
Term 1 2 Sept 2019 (Mon) – 30 Nov 2019 (Sat)
Add/Drop 2 Sept 2019 (Mon) – 16 Sept 2019 (Mon)
Term 2 6 Jan 2020 (Mon) – 18 Apr 2020 (Sat)
Add/Drop 6 Jan 2020 (Mon) – 20 Jan 2020 (Mon)
iii. Medium of Instruction
Cantonese, English or Putonghua
iv. Enrollment Priority
The enrollment priority of courses offered by the Programme is given to part-time students at their last year of studies or full-time students.
v. Academic Honesty – VeriGuide
The University places very high importance on honesty in academic work. According to the Honesty in Academic Work: A Guide for Students and Teachers: (http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/policy/academichonesty/Eng_htm_files_(2013-14)/index_page2.htm ), all assignments should be submitted to VeriGuide for checking (https://academic.veriguide.org/academic/) and accompanied by a signed declaration statement when handing in to teachers.

i. Postgraduate Student Handbook
The Postgraduate Student Handbook 2019-20 is available at Graduate School website (https://www.gs.cuhk.edu.hk/page/PostgraduateStudentHandbook) Please read relevant parts regarding your studies, in particular the General Regulations Governing Postgraduate Studies.
ii. Teaching Timetable

iii. Campus-Wide Email System (CWEM)
The Department, Graduate School and other units of the University will send announcements and notices to you via the CWEM (https://webmail.cuhk.edu.hk/). Please check your CWEM mailbox regularly. Otherwise, you may miss important information, e.g., course registers, student fee reminders, etc.
For Technical problems (e.g. login ID, password, use of MyCUHK), please contact ITSC Service Desk (https://servicedesk.itsc.cuhk.edu.hk/ or 3943 8845.
iv. MyCUHK and CUSIS
You can access different information related to the University and study via MyCUHK (https://portal.cuhk.edu.hk/). You can update your contact information, perform course registration, view academic results and other study related matters via CUSIS.
v. CU eLearning System
You may download the course materials and conduct online discussion of each course via CU eLearning System – Blackboard Learn (http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/eLearning/)
vi. Graduate School Platform – Student
You may login the GS Platform (Students) by using your Student ID and CWEM password at https://www.gradsch.cuhk.edu.hk/pgstudent/login_cwem.aspx
Various application forms are available for download, e.g., Course Registration Form CS-1, Leave of Absence, Change of Expected Graduation Date, etc.
3. Student ID Card (CU Link)
If you have fulfilled all admission condition(s) and completed your online registration, you may collect your Student ID Card from the CU Link Card Centre located at Room 804, 8/F, Wu Ho Man Yuen (WMY) Building.

4. Student Fee
According to the environmental policy of the University to use less paper, NO printed fee debit note will be sent to students by mail. Instead, notification e-mails will be sent to students two weeks prior to the payment due date. Students have to check their CWEM mailbox and login CUSIS to enquire the details of the fee debit notes.
