About Prof. HO Tsz Wai Jimmy

Jimmy Ho is a researcher, designer, and curator in architecture. He received a bachelor’s degree in social science (Architectural Studies) in 2012, a master’s degree in Architecture in 2015, and a doctoral degree in Architecture in 2023 all from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Since 2020, he has participated in multiple large-scale projects in countryside conservation, architectural restoration, and community engagement, funded by the Countryside Conservation Funding Scheme and Lantau Conservation Fund. He is proactive in architectural design and exhibition and served multiple roles, including the lead curatorship of Hong Kong Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture (UABB) in 2025, exhibition design of 100 Faces of Tai Kwun (the inaugural exhibition) for Hong Kong Jockey Club in 2018, and project management of public art schemes such as Viva! River in 2018 and In-Park in 2017 for Art Promotion Office. He is currently working on community-based cultural heritage revitalization in coastal landscape in peri-urban areas.
