關於 任卓賢教授

Colten Yam received his Doctor of Theology from the Faculty of Protestant Theology of the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, Germany. His research interests focus on Ancient Christianity (Patristics), including Augustine, the Cappadocian Fathers, Neoplatonism, Trinitarian theology in Ancient Christianity, and natural science in the Late Antiquity, etc.

 

He has published the monograph Trinity and Grace in Augustine: An Analysis of De trinitate 8-10 in Light of De spiritu et littera (Brill/Schöningh, 2019) plus about 10 articles and several book reviews, covering a broad range of themes in ancient Christianity – Latin and Greek Christian traditions, theology and philosophy, natural science and pagan culture.

 

He is currently working on his habilitation thesis “A Commentary on Basil of Caesarea's Hexaemeron” which investigates the theology of Basil of Caesarea as well as the relationship between Christianity and ancient Greek culture. He is also working on several articles covering topics like the Pneumatology of Augustine, Cyprian and diseases, and animals in Ancient Christianity.
