关于 任百鑫教授

Antoine Ren received his doctoral degree in theology from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain), Belgium. His doctoral dissertation, Christoph Theobald’s Stylistic Theology of Mission: A New Paradigm for Understanding and Conducting Christian Mission in Postmodern Society, has been published in French. It is the first doctoral dissertation on the theology of Christoph Theobald, one of the most prestigious and innovative theologians in Europe today.

Antoine Rens’s research interests are diverse, encompassing various topics within systematic, fundamental, and practical theology. These include eschatology and ecclesiology in systematic theology; the relationship between faith and culture in fundamental theology; and issues relevant to practical theology, such as mission in postmodern society, pastoral spirituality, and spiritual movements in Mainland China.

He is the editor-in-chief of several book series published by Manna Cultural Press and currently serves in the same capacity for the International Journal of Catholic Studies, as well as for two book series published by the Centre for Catholic Studies at CUHK.

In addition to his academic work, he has published a three-volume (Year A, B, C) commentary on the Sunday Mass readings (The Word Is Near You, Taipei: Manna Culture Press, 2021–2024) and translated two books by Joseph Ratzinger into Chinese. He has also edited an anthology of contemporary Chinese Catholic poetry (Ephphatha, Taipei: Showwe, 2018), along with other books related to theodicy and pastoral training.
