Farewell to Prof. Wong Kin Yuen (2021-05-31)

MAICS wishes all the best to our founder, Prof. Wong Kin Yuen, who is retiring from teaching. After receiving his PhD from the University of California, San Diego in Comparative Literature in 1979, Prof. Wong returned to Hong Kong, where he joined CUHK in 1985 and founded CUHK's Intercultural Studies Program in 2004. He last taught MAICS' required core course Concepts of Contemporary Culture in 2020-2021.
