Master of Arts in Cultural Management (MACM) Programme
The MACM Programme invites applications for visiting scholars to be based in Hong Kong for one term (4 months) or two terms (8 months)* in one or more upcoming academic years (2027-28, 2028-29, 2029-30). Applicants should have specialized knowledge in the theory and practice of cultural management, including (but not limited to) creative industries, cultural policy, cultural heritage and conservation, and/or visual & performing arts management.
Eligibility
Applicants must be full-time professorial academic staff (Assistant Professor or above) in a recognized academic institution at the time of the visit.
Requirements
Visiting scholars are expected to teach two full courses per term (approximately 5.5 contact hours per week combined) for the MACM Programme. Visiting scholars are also invited to participate in the Programme’s activities.
Benefits
Airfare to and from the home institution (economy class), on-campus office, and a minimum monthly salary of HK$80,825 (approx. US$10,300). Scholars are expected to source for short-term accommodation on their own.
